Liz and Jarryd's stunning June wedding

Liz and Jarryd were married at Weddings at Tiffanys  on the 1st June 2013. Their wedding style was modern elegance and this was captured perfectly by their photographer Karen Buckle.

The cake itself was a fruit cake top tier, the second tier was caramel mud cake teamed with white chocolate ganache, the third was a delicious white chocolate mud cake and the base was a rich chocolate mud cake finished with dark chocolate ganache. The cake was then covered in sugar paste icing and finished with ruffled petals and gorgeous soft ruffles of sugar paste.

I received this gorgeous email today from Liz and Jarryd.
"Hi Skye,

Jarryd and I hope you've been well and we wanted to express our heartfelt thanks for the amazing job you did with our wedding cake on the 1st of June 2013.
The day was absolutely perfect and our cake was more than what we ever could have hoped for.  Your cake was stunning and exactly what we envisioned.  The cake tasted as good as it looked...absolutely delicious!!  We didn't expect so much of the cake to be eaten on the night but it tasted so good that several of our guests said it was the best wedding cake they had ever had Emoji
The design of our cake suited our theme of 'modern elegance' perfectly and your professionalism ensured that we were completely confident in booking you as our wedding cake supplier.
We will be recommending you to all of our friends and family and hopefully we may come across your cakes in the near future!
We've attached some photos of the cake captured in all its glory by Karen Buckle Photography. Enjoy!
Kindest regards,
Mr & Mrs Whitehead xx "

Thanks guys, its messages like these that make me think I have the best job in the world. xx Skye

Jessica and Terrance were married on a stormy day in May this year. But the weather didn't dampen their celebration. I received a message just recently from Jessica saying "Thank you for our beautiful and very tasty wedding cake x"

Jessica also sent me these stunning images captured by Artography,
Two different variations of designs on the cupcakes one is a chocolate mud cake topped with whipped vanilla buttercream colour to the gorgeous teal colour and topped with sugar pearls. Lauren and Julian's Stunning Ruffle cake

Lauren and Julian were married on the 4th May 2013. The reception was held at Marcoola Surf Air.

Lauren posted this message to me on the Sunny Girl Cakes Facebook Page following the wedding.
" Hi Skye. Just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for our beautiful cake on the weekend. It was perfect and even more gorgeous than I imagined. Not only did it look fabulous, it tasted superb and we had so many lovely comments from our guests. It was so nice to work with you - nothing was ever too much trouble. You're a very talented lady and I can't recommend your services enough! Thank you for helping to make our day perfect. xo" Lauren Nielsen

Lauren and Julian chose the romantic design of a ruffle cake. It was very important to Julian that their cake was covered in sugar paste because he loved the taste of it. The cake itself was chocolate mud cake covered in rich chocolate ganache. To make up extra serves they had a kitchen cake and chose a white chocolate mud kitchen covered in white chocolate ganache.

The stunning flower arrangement was created by the very clever Wendy from Wendys flowers and event hire. This photo below shows a gorgeous close up of the flowers.

I absolutely love how Greg Gardner has captured the delicate ruffles of Lauren and Julian's cake in these photos
